
Game day: “Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are!”
Have you ever heard of that theory stating that we are the average of the 5 people we spend the most time with?
That can be family of course, friends, colleagues, and sometimes people we would not have chosen to have that close to us!
So, game:
. Stage 1: think at who these 5 people are for you today,
. Stage 2: list their main quality but also their main shortcoming for each of them,
. Stage 3: list yours,
. Stage 4: compare lists and see how many you have in common,
It’s actually true that our behaviour is impacted and influenced by these 5 people.
When these people spread positivity, optimism, energy, enthusiasm, courage etc, then we should be fine.
❌But what happens when we are forced to be around toxic people?
Have you ever noticed a change in your behaviour?
You see yourself becoming more:
❌grumpy
❌impatient
❌irritable
❌emotional
❌anxious, etc
