Together, we achieve more<\/strong>

That\u2019s what my 8 year-old beautiful little girl, listening to me rehearsing my presentation speech, wrote on a piece of paper and asked me to read it aloud to the audience.

A few months ago, Franziska and I co-created a new version of the Circle of Women in Suzhou. We wanted it to be a warm, safe and happy space for women to share their passions, skills and stories.

Everyone has a voice and we wanted to make sure it could be heard. That\u2019s empowerment.

That\u2019s why we have decided to rely on volunteers. Anyone can step forward to present something that matters to them. Health, art, culture, music, anything really!

I am absolutely amazed at the engagement and commitment our ladies are showing!

For instance, yesterday evening, Laura and Yan, who had never met before joining our group, led a fantastic 2-hour session on cultural communication, diving into what culture really means and how we navigate low vs high context
environments.

Twelve women joined, laughed, debated and more importantly, learned together.

This is what we dreamt of: a community where every woman feels supported, seen and inspired to step forward.
