Caring is winning!

A few years ago, I had an interview with a recruiter from a Talent HR company.
I had passed the IQ tests and the chat we had afterwards was interesting and friendly. The recruiter even called me a โ€œtalentโ€. Woohooo!!
In my opinion, everything had gone perfectly wellโ€ฆ

Until towards the end of our discussion when the recruiter shared with me a clear discrepancy he had noticed during our conversation:
the first 30 seconds during which I met him and introduced myself showed me as a ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ป whereas the rest of the interview demonstrated I was actually quite the opposite.

He then asked me if I was aware of that first impression I was offering to people.

I knew perfectly that a 1st impression is key to make a good impression on people and I thought I was smiling and โ€œnaturallyโ€ engaging.

Clearly, his feedback was not meant to be mean but

Now that I think of it,
Neither a simple feedback nor an opinion.
It made me realise how much this behaviour that could potentially
